Winfield School of Business and “Winmas”, the Alumni Group of Winfield together have successfully undertaken it’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiative by donating blood and required medicine to Apeksha Hospital last November. The organizing committee to this project consisted of 35 participants representing Winmas Executive Committee, Winfield staff, Metropolitan staff and members of Leo clubs of Kiribathgoda and Nawala. The professorial guidance by Dr. Sanjeewa Gunasekara, the Oncologist, the project team arranged to donate Chemotherapy Vaccines and few other essential medicines to Apeksha Hospital. In addition, the team also managed to donate Baby Cologne, Biscuits, Drawing Books, Colour Pencils, Clay, Jelly packets, Nutrition packs & Face masks. Winfield and Winams extend it’s sincere thanks and appreciation for everyone who actively contributed to make this event a success.
